Favourite Christmas Tipple
I love my Drambuie at Christmas and was greatly disappointed when the wife supplied me with a bottle of Glayva. I took avoiding action in my normal stubborn way to prove a point. She went to bed early last night so I tried a little sip. Bloody lovely stuff straight from the bottle. Feckin Baileys is still unopened though and will remain so for a long long time. Whats your favourite Christmas tipple tipple?

Here's two of my favourites.

Royal Lochnagar selected reserve single malt and Ballantines Limited. Love the Ballantines - smells like Christmas Pudding!

Got to be Adnams "Broadside" (6.3 bottled or 4.8% draught)or I've forgotten the name of the brewery but it's called "Old Thumper" 5.6%!!

Used to drink whisky (Glenfiddich) but when I found out my Dad had terminal cancer I drank lots of it and made myself really ill (like in Hozzi for 2 days ill) and now I wont touch it!! Shame really as I used to enjoy it before that episode

Now I just stick to proper Ales and love the names of them too!!
My Super Modded TDM has gone to a new home Sad

I'm now a carbon whore!

Reckon I'll try that tonight. Probably be the one with singed lips in the morning.
its gotta be a combination of a good single malt, (The Macallum is a winner) some crusty cob bread and butter, a large chunk of Garstang blue, a pinch or 3 of Barnards Klostermischung snuff and a couple of DVD's (and no work next day)

Beer. Or wine. Sometimes spirits. Whatever comes to hand really.
Usually a beer but have discovered Gran Marnier over christmas.
It took a bottle to get a verdict but it was quite acceptable
