Key Choob (google it) i have something similar, it's like a small sock that covers me keys and alarm fob and stops them rubbing away at the top yoke.

this way I don't get them mixed up and try to start my bike with the fridge, I'm thinking of writing 'this way in' on my socks too, so that I know which way round they are in the dark.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
You can read in the dark?
I have a leather one with a round metal Yamaha badge on it. Came with the bike when I bought it second hand, assumed it came with bike when it was new (in 1993)
My car keyring is a bottle opener that I got from a police road safety campain stand. Not convinced that bottle opener keyrings quite goes with the drink driving campain though...
1992 Mk1, 76k miles, Hagon springs, MTC exhaust, 4½ gears Gone now
The Yammy's fob is a flourescent red rubbery triangle that says 'You are the person responsible for your own safety'. I picked it up at an engineering trade show a few years ago.
The house keys, work keys, keys for the last house I lived in, keys for a friends place, keys for my parents place, key for my bike lock, USB memory stick thingy and little allen key thingy for the bike luggage rack all reside in one huge jangling mess seperate from the bike key. You wouldn't want all that lot swinging around off the ignition now would you?

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.
The TDM key ring is attached to a tiny black duffel bag with a zipper. It's good for keeping a few coins in it for quick access just in case. I also keep a spare insurance info tag inside it, and the givi topbox key as well.
The BMW key ring has a small remote garage door opener wrapped in a spare piece of neoprene I glued onto it to keep it from rattling about and scratching up the instrument panel.
I don't keep any other keys on the key ring to try to avoid scratches, and have a separate key ring for house, etc.
IAM leather fob. Hope it might just convince PC Plod that I still bear some resemblance to a responsible citizen. Also has keys for the garage and the disc lock, one of those pet collar brass cylinder thingies with contact phone nubmber to give me an outside chance of getting them back, plus angy's special "don't ride away with the disc lock on"device.
Bollocks to my top yoke.

Peice of self adhesive carbon stuck on top yolk to protect it.
Car key has 'Back Street Heros' fob.
