Think I will fire one off to the hotel too Trev. If they are being muppets then I'll cancel and find somewhere else.

We aren't tied to Amay. Just thought it was a nice distance to and from for a break.

If they are mucking you all about, why not leave all your bookings in place, find somewhere else, and then cancel the original bookings all at the last minute. That way they will end up with an empty hotel with no time to find replacement bookings. Simple and easy revenge.

Dont want to panic , but this all seems to be a day early - I thought we were arriving on Thursday 23rd and departing on the Monday 27th. Most are planning or booked the Wednesday 22nd and Monday 27th in Liege.

Dazzer,
From what I can gather from those that have been there before, people tend to depart on the Sunday and there won't be any tours planned that day. As you can see from my translation of the itinerary, they have arrivals listed both on Wednesday and Thursday. If people are staying overnight in Liege on Wednesday, then it's going to be arrival late afternoon on Thursday unless a blast down the autobahn is added.
I haven't booked my crossing yet and since my accomodation in Liege has been cancelled, was thinking I might go on Tuesday instead of Wednesday and come back a day earlier.

2004 900 - Blue with lots of goodies

2012 900 - Still adding shiny bits. Was black, changed to white and now back to black again.

Well if that is the case for Sunday I may take myself off to the Czech Republic for the day.

A few mates have visited Cheb and reckon it's really nice.

Only 200Km from Masserberg so easily reachable and time for some fun too.

I'm thinking leave Sunday with 2 nights camping to get to the Eurotunnel around mid day Tuesday. After my previous MT experience it's possibly to find some stunning roads home. I've still got the Satnav itinary of the route Tony, Danny and myself did south of Cologne which I think is possibly the best days riding I've had in my life.

Me and Moose have a change of venue due to the hotel in Amay messing us about. We're now staying here in Hotel Jagerersruh, Monschau. Bit of a bargain at 36 euro inc breakie. They have 15 rooms in total, but I'm not sure how many they have left. It's about another hour or so ride from Amay/Liege, but looks nice and surrounded by some good roads. It's also on the way back from the ring just off the B258
