i'll be there unless we get snowed in, dont mind about a few spots of rain <!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Nope be there by 10:30 chat for half an hour and have a coffee/bacon butty then ride at 11:00
I'll be there even in the rain cos I like to ride in the wet too makes you ride smoother
I'll be there. Clocked up 200 odd miles today with the misses on tow with her gsr. With 580 miles on the clock, that's almost enough to get me back to Tinklers for the first service. We did make our way there to find them closed Thursdays. I remembered when I pulled up outside.
Unless they get a cancellation tomorrow, I'll be on the Dominator.
Every time I look at Metcheck or Met Office the forecast has changed so I am with Stormy, open the curtains and dress for what you see. I hate riding in the rain but I will be there come what may.

I don't think it will be too bad, certainly they don't seem to be saying that it will be as bad as they indicated earlier in the week. Like Jolly, I don't mind riding in the rain, or even getting the bike wet, as I'm of the firm opinion that they are for using not just looking at. However, my early reluctance was based upon the view that I don't want to ride over 300 miles being wet, cold and miserable. Keeping everything crossed and will make decision early Sat morning but feeling confident that all will be OK
Just checked TDM over added 250ml of oil checked chain & tyre pressure's all Just abit how this winter has got into the peeling bits even more

I only got round to popping in at the cafe in Bury this afternoon and they now no longer open an a Saturday "Not enough custom"!
But all is not lost I have checked with another place that is definitely open and happy to have us. It is only a couple of minutes away from the original place.
Its a van in the car park for Homebase and there is a loo in the store for those that need.

Not to worry Andy - easily done. I guess that everyone that's planning on attending will check in here to make sure there are no last minute changes (like this one). Thanks for popping in there, it's better to know now rather find out on the day!
At least the Red lodge will be open, as I know that ones open 24/7.
Kinda my fault too as I was going to get the Missus to ask as she drives past said lorry park twice a day but since Landy said he was going to check I didn't bother Sorry for leaving it up to you Landy

Andy, is that postcode correct? TomTom is showing it as Ailwin Road....
OK, on further investigation, it's at the junction with Easlea Road.
As for blaming yourself - Suffolk up maybe but Easlea done, and it's an Ailwin that blows.....? Ah'll get ma coat.
I've just thought can any of you who have posted invites on other sites please update them with the change.
I think I will have to hang around at the lorry park to catch anyone who has missed the change.

Top marks for Tinklers. Took the bike to them this morn and they phoned me at 14.30 to say it was ready. So wet TDM day tomorrow.
No prob with the closed cafe as you've found a replacement. I can get a bit emotional without my bacon buttie.
Like you say, could be a good idea to maybe check the lorry park on the way out for the ride just in case?
