Quote:I've tried to post some pics lately. Site Says their too big. Guessing its the resolution size. My phones lowest setting is 6 megpixl. Is it me or the phone? Cheers.â
Â
Play around in your phone's photo menu to see if you can edit and resize the pictures. If you can resize them to 50% original size they should fit...
Thanks folks, I've resized to 25% and could only get this shot to load. ? I don't get it. ð I keep the resolution consistent on the phone so I don't understand why one will load and the others won't.
Wish I was as proficient with tech stuff as I am with mechanical. Oh well. Cheers. G.ð

How much space does the Carpe system say you have for uploads when you try to post an image ?
Thanks fixer, , LED head and tail lamps should arrive today from Superbrightleds.com. That will complete the lighting mods.ð
Site tells me, "You can upload up to 204.79KB of files (max.single file size:204.79KB)" Hope this helps. ? Gonna try a different photo. Ahh nuts, won't let it happen. ð Cheers.
Went to tax it and found the MoT had expired. Â :bag:
Â
re. photos, it's easiest to just upload photos to Imgur / photobucket / Google/ Dropbox / Facebook* / etc and then paste a link on the forum.

204kB is nothing.....a single photo can be a few thousand kBÂ (1000kB = 1MB)
Â
You need more storage by deleting older pictures from your gallery, or become a supporting member as Studley pointed out, when you get a bigger picture allowance
Unkinked my fuel tank breather pipe! Knew it was kinked as pressure build up when I went to go for fuel the other week, forgot to sort it then!
Â
Guy I know with a K7 GSXR1000 did the same, only his fuel pump sucked in BOTH sides of the steel fuel tank! Looked like someone had booted it by foot! Just shows you the power of suction.

Tested my new LED aux lamps and new Givi 22 litres panniers (thanks Mort), on an overnight, 287 miles, trip to Farnborough. Adjusted the lamps this afternoon as they were set too low. Odometer spun past 25000 miles on the way down - so I have done around 15000 trouble-free miles in the last 14 months and now need to order a cam-cover gasket for a valve check.
Â
Very happy with this 9er - it's so user friendly compared to the constant oil checks of 850 ownership. :clapping:

Pushed the latest mk2 into the garage for a good look....looking forward to getting busy at a leisurely pace (!)...I recently acquired a home zinc plating kit and portable powder coat machine, so it's going to be fun !
