From there ride to Frameires, near Mons, to vist the graves of the South Lancashire Regiment who died on the 2nd day of the first world war. One of the unknown graves is my Great Grand-father. Thomas Henry Henderson.

After that we ride to Liege to stay at B&B Au chateau du temps in Liege. link

My Great Grandfather was in the Royal Irish Regiment - 6th Batallion & is buried at Bailleul.

So if it can be scheduled in with the trip to Liege & the other war graves being visited that would be much appreciated if it is not too far out of the way?

They don't come much squigglier than that . I'm in . BTW, spent a pleasant hour or two with Google Translater and the MT website (my German being nonexistant) and discovered there's nothing planned on the Sunday by our very organised hosts, so it would be a shame to have those roads, a TDM and not use them.

Sorted then Chris,

I hope our friends won't be upset, when we bugger off to see a POW camp on their last day.

Not that we should mention it, the "W" word ..... sshh

I suppose we could ,
leave when its dark and the security guards are just about to change,
we could black our faces and scyncronise our whatches,
post sentries on all the corners,
have a cunning knocking system to say the coast is clear. ( take some rope in case we are one person short)
Tip-toe past the TV lounge and the night porter whatching RTL,
meet up in the car park,
push our bikes to the gate, avoiding the security lights.
We will need to bribe the guard with some chocolate and pictures of a Catsbum.
Someone ( preferably, chubby, old, ginger and has regional accent, " Fook thats me!"), will need to nearly drop his bike, twist his ankle and stay behind.
Once past the woods, you can start up, avoid major towns and ride like you are being chased, by angry fellows with side cars.
I'll try to keep my mouth shut as long as possible, to give you as much head start as I can,
but if they tempt me with a free MT2011 tee -shirt .....

I'm gonna Talk ....
