Had a nice ride out of Croatia. All ready to go by 9am and its very hot!.Two other Brits pulled in on bike last night, done same route but taken them 2 weeks. Must like riding, that's all I can say.The roads around the Istria coast are race track smooth 3rd gear fast sweepers with great view across from the cliffs across azure seas to disatant isles. (aah-thats poetical-Angie)Its best to concentrate though as truck and car drivers tend to cut the corners. F**ks your line right up that does-oh shit!
Just broke off for a siesta in my hammock on the campsite 'Adria' at a small place in Slovenia called Ankaran near Kopre and Isola.. [b](I have Googled it-he aint exactly slumming it by the looks, its got an indoor and outdoor pool, restaurant and washing facilities-no manky toilet block here I reckon-Angie) [b][b]I stopped first at a site in Isola (Isola is a historic small neighbour to Koper). Harbour bars and beach volley ball....hmm.....stop it! It was a blokes game........................... but I can imagine! Camp was shit though. 
Well worth another 20minutes riding to Ankaran. 
Hoping to be in Dolomites Friday and meet up with a couple that Angie, our neighbour Frank and I met in Taynuilt a couple of years ago (we have always kept in touch).Looking a bit iffy for Angies birthday though! (he says he will make it up to me
