He replied by e-mail that it would work, and then he did the work last spring, so he should know what he's talking about. I only asked here in case there could be further issues with those.

Thanks! That's a great offer. I wasn't very clear in saying the ECU was indeed flashed and is waiting for me to fit to the bike.

 

Still unsure about blocking the hose under the airbox. I don't recall what it looks like under there, but there's a vacuum pipe for the flap and a vent hose straight into the box?

 

Interested in the brake-light fuel cut mod! I'll be scrolling that, next.

 

I didn't realise you already had the ECU

 

An external fuel cut won't be needed with a Samios ECU, it's already coded into it, and so too is the ignition timing advance map
