I haven't got the bike with me at the mo,( don't ask, that's another gripe for another day. 
orry: ) and I've got a chain waiting to be put on. Am I right in thinking because it's a hanging engine, the chain can be removed without splitting and therefore a chain already joined can be installed ? I'm trying to picture the cross-tube underneath the engine and I can't remember if it's in between the chain.
