No lamingtons, HK, but a very nice Big Breakfast with the Christchurch whanau, and a bottle of Chivas from the family (no, not with breakfast...). 

Still checking in here from time to time - riding has been a bit restricted of late, what with one thing and another.  V-Strom goes in for a front suspension do-over on Thursday; should improve/enhance the travelling experience.
