carbs are balanced, i suppose i could fettle the mix screws under the carbs. They are se at 2 full turns out.



it fires right up though and revs really easy

Could it be a twisted tickover cable ?  Just seems odd having to screw it fully clockwise to get 1200rpm.  That said, if it works ok might as well leave as be.
