I'm Starting To See The Attraction Of The Mk1
It's a 360 isn't it?  Both go up and down together but alternate one fires on each revolution, hence the single coil and wasted spark.

I always felt the Mk1 was better on twisty B roads than the 900, with better low RPM response for powering out of slow corners.  The 900s better on faster roads though.  They benefit from heavier fork oil in my opinion (especially as TDM owners like cake) and anything on it's original shock is probably a bit bouncy by now.

1992 Mk1, 76k miles, Hagon springs, MTC exhaust, 4½ gears Gone now Sad

2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.
