Handy little tip for saving yourself hanging on the telephone (there's a tune in there somewhere). My "auto" renewal came up recently with Bennetts. Rather than call them and sit on hold for hours paying through the nose for the privilege, I used their online chat. The good thing was that I could walk away while awaiting a real person to chat with and when they did reply, I got an email notification to say the chat gone "active" again. Saved me a few quid in phone calls and also rip off renewal prices. They were, of course, instructed at the time of policy start to disable the auto renewal, which, of course, they hadn't.
