After discussing your postal problems yesterday Cliff, I asked my postie if there were problems down your way as our post service is excellent and we're only 10 miles from you. He thought your local sorting office might be closed as it can't be made Covid safe for the staff and if so, all the district's mail gets "redirected" to another sorting office that could be miles away and then gets shipped back to your postie for delivery. It can wait at the other sorting office for days as they work through their own mail first before working on yours.
