one of the TRK502 newer ones. made in China. Quality is reasonable.

Feels heavy for the size of bike. In this case, rear wheel bearings had gone.

They are only sealed one side. The threads and bolts are not the best, fairly standard engineering, but this funny rear guard holder arm caused trouble. Rear swinger is steel.

It runs well the owner says, he has forded rivers with it ok. Looks like a knock off of the earlier CB500 engine. Castings are surprisingly good. £4999 new. With a bit of sorting i.e. chucking most of the fasteners in the bin, it could be a cheap adventure bike only got 47 hp. though. Chinese are catching up the Japs, using European designers and CNC machining.

Personally I think the lighter and less to no plastics RE Himalayan is a better bet off road for £1000 less.
