Checked 9er valve clearances - spot on! I've never seen cleanter engine internals - could eat off the valve cover 

De-rusted coolant pipe & sprayed with Hammerite before reassembly.

Installed new battery, the old one would probably survived if I weren't too optimistic about state during winter... Bike started immediately in March, last coupla months killed it.

Washed it, polished scratches & headlight glass - looks brand new  :pimp:

....but found an old '02 for sale that need some TLC and priced due to this....maybe take a look at it today
