Jumped on it and rode up to Tyndrum, Green Welly stop, than back via Loch Lomond, Dumbarton and Glasgow. 180 miiles behind a friend who was running in a brand new Triumph Tiger 800 so no speed records were under threat, seemed to be on for 210miles to the tankful, not bad considering the climbs into the headwind we experienced.

 

The Oxford heated grips with automatic switch off are wired directly to the battery and they haven't drained the battery while the bike was sat doing nothing for 3 weeks, so I'm happy with that

Feels like months since I've been up that way

Hopefully I'll get a chance before end of year to have a little run up that way

Just need to replace the r/hand H T Lead first
