Every year i say I won't ride through the winter....but then you get an odd dry day in December when the weather gets as high as 6 degrees .....

Ive got a pump action garden sprayer which i fill with hot soapy water as soon as I'm home to spray off most of the salt with.

I used to courier through winter here in Edinburgh so i dont feel its abnormal to want to go out and get some 'me time' even in bad weather.

For me the worst is wind....i can ride in sleet, you just take care, but high winds on the motorway tire me right out quickly

Commute all year round ( only bike license ) only 5/6 miles to work .

But your right about the winds make things really tough

Did leave the Bike at home couple of days ago because of wind

Got blown over on driveway haha
