Removed my left side heated grip and added some heatshrink underneath, then re-installed. I was losing too much heat into the bars on the left side. I typically add heatshrink or SA tape to the bars when adding the under grip type heaters. I didn't think this was needed with Oxford grips, but it helped immensely. I also swapped out my ST handguards for the $20 Chinese ones like AliG got. They're not very handsome, but they provide better coverage. Lastly, I swapped out my 60W Osram headlight bulbs for two LED H4 replacements, freeing up 80W.

Took it for a test spin today, although it was a fairly "warm" 44*F/7*C, the setup worked very well. Should be good for those 20*F/-7*C morning commutes.Â
Â
The downside: I did something to my clutch cable during the handguard install. It functions ok, but has A LOT of resistance to it. I don't notice anything strange about the cable run, but it must be caught up somewhere. I also noticed that my brake line holder on the rear swingarm broke and the part is no longer available! If anybody has a spare, please let me know.  Â
