Last June went up through Scotland, across to Lewis and down through to Harris. I don't know if you have ever been that route, but staggering going down the West of Harris. Stunning just isn't the word. I really envy you where you live.

 

I will just have to put up with Snowdonia...

Wife & I did the reverse a few years ago adding Barra and the Uists at the front end - but in the car. She doesn't do two wheels. Harris is magic.

 

Back home today and it got another wash after a couple of days of mixed weather, getting wetter as it went! However it was a great trip, getting to Durness at lunchtime on Thursday, as pictured.
