- I've been to California a couple of times, once to La Jolla/SD, the other on a (4-wheeled) 3 week trip from LA anticlockwise across Joshua Tree up thru' Arizona (Grand Canyon etc.) Bryce/Zion, Las Vegas, Death Valley and over via Yosemite ("branching" off to see the bristlecone pines) to SF. Happy memories - would love to do it, or any part of it. again on a bike.
