That is the one issue I can see. Is it possible to come up with one sticker color that will work on any bike color?
I voted for #2 but I'm thinking we may need a white version for dark bikes and a black version for light bikes.

Or pick a design and have both made, you get/buy one of each and the more contrasty one goes on your bike,
the other one can go on your cage... 'My other car is a TDM'

If the offer is that good I can understand.... but you can always use part of the profit to buy a Mk1.
I think Mr. G has one he will let go reasonable.
