petrol tank 900
Hi
Anyone had the tank off the 900 is there enough room to put it to the side to get to spark plugs and air filter without having to resort to draning it and taking the fecker off?

cheers Bob

It is hinged to the frame at the seat end; simply prop it up firmly and get on with your work. It's easier to get at the plugs by draining and removing the radiator, IME.

the 900 fuel tank uses a fuel pump. You can take it of without draining it.
At least that's what my meca did last week...

Tnx guys just feel the need to put a pair of these fancy plugs in (iradium?) and do the JBX airbox mod as I can't get out on bike with this weather and will have to calm myself down with doing little workshop jobs and get her ready for spring RTT06 France and beyond.

Is the JBX airbox mod likely to make you fail the MOT on emissions (no not the ones you're thinking about Bob [Image: tongue.gif] )??

I thought the air-flap malarkey was to improve emissions? [Image: dry.gif]
No emissions test for bikes...........when it does happen expect some seriously detuned motors to comply. Even the cat 900s put out about 100 times more shite than a car!!

It is, but noise emissions.
