Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

engine changed july 20
07 on a dyno run it made
79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

Bikes are my xs850 and Simon's xs1100. Claire remains an attractive woman and is still married to handsome Simon, good for both of them.

The only one I can find of me from the period is waiting my turn at a sprint. I'm the one on the right with my little RD250 street bike.

Because when those photos were take my bike still had stabilisers    :hide:

I had the blue rd205b 1975 N reg which I changed to use all 6 in the box. This was my first road bike which I rode from Durham to Brighton for the weekend. It must the 9er in me Wink

 

Did you have the slightly later orange one or the same 'B'?

It was a blue 'un but did a bit of somersaulting at Silverstone in a production race. I had the tank.and side panels repainted in white with a red flash along the top of the tank. Unfortunately, the body shop lead-filled the tank dents, not ideal for a sprinter!
