I've Got A Hog !
Spotted this little guy crouched up in the corner of my bike shelter.

[attachment=o13226]

Had a quick look without disturbing it and it might have got some injury near it's head.  Could be that it was inside the neighbours pile of bush and scrub they'd dug up from their garden a few days ago, and then setting fire to it this afternoon.

Anyhoos, I looked up suitable food to feed it and found that they're quite partial to a bit of scrambled egg. Big Grin

After dropping off the egg I stood a good distance away for a while, when I heard it scoffing the lot. Lol  They are REALLY noisy eaters.

Gonna keep topping it's plate up and then see if it's still there tomorrow.  I've also put a saucer of water out.

Thank god for that. For a minute there I thought you'd gone all Hardly Movingson!

They like cat food apparently.
Quite a biggy. Was that arfa dozen scrabbled eggs? Good job SR.

They often get shovelled poor buggers.

I see a helluva lot more wildlife since outside went quiet. Sadly soon to become a helluva lot more roadkill.
Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.
No way Hardly Movingson. lol Yeah, wet cat food apparently Trev.  Only the one egg was scrambled Daps, and yeah quite a little porker, it's now gone.  Must be in pretty good health after all.  Or it was insulted by my culinary skills as there's loads of egg left. Huh  I know they can get dehydrated in dry weather as there aren't always lots of bugs for them to eat so it might have been looking for a water supply.
Check it hasn't nicked your frame bungs
Nice one, ya need to go out to the garden with a torch at night and collect some slugs furrit when he visits again Smile

I think you're supposed to encase them in clay before you put them in the oven, that way the spines break off with the clay.

Minced beef or minced pork, stuffed with cheese (optional jalapeños).  Add. Little bbq rub, smoke for about 4 hours and glaze.

Search out Fatty recipes - lots of options. We often do them for kiddies. Vegans hate them!

Funny story about hedgehogs. One night, in the early hours, the security lights came on in the back garden and the dog started going berserk. We both went down to investigate. Mrs Matlock was looking out into the edge of the floodlight's beam when she screamed "there a huge snake in the garden!". I went out to look and a hedgehog had hold of one end of the dog's long rope toy and was dragging it off to it's lair. This was a 3 feet length of 2" rope, with a knot at either end.He must have thought he had the biggest worm ever!!  :rotflmmfao:  :rotflmmfao:  :rotflmmfao: No wonder the dog was p*ssed off!

Lol They are amusing little characters.
Must be their time for outings. Had one running around the garden last night. Watched it for a while till it disappeared under the back gate.
