Toni's been at it again today. Whilst I've been making a big batch of Shepherds Pie ( some to drop off at a friend's place who has the dreaded Covid), she was busy making some cakes and a couple of Fruit Crumbles.

Damn you really need to open a cake shop.
Smile

Hmmmm Vicky sponge.  My fave cake.
I have it on very good authority that the way to make the cakes exceptionally moist is to add a spoon and a half of yoghurt. I can vouch for the fact it works.
Cakey on doorstep....origin as yet unknown (it came with a card as Tishabelles birthday)

Can I confirm with other carpe cakers that it's finders keepers, right?

Careful what you wish for Dappers. We may just lurk around outside your place and “find” the cakes as they’re delivered.

I may need some form of secure outside cake box!

Def going to try the yoghurt thing.

Met up with a couple of mate for run this morning, and one of them brought breakfast...

Their cats leave plenty of unwanted presents though 😡
Hope it's not raining on the way home. ☂️

Yes I will be adding some straps to hold it down for the journey 🙄

And no, my neighbours will not be getting any cake.

Ahaaaa thar she blows. That's the same brand bag I seed in morroistons pants...good job.

I watched "young offenders" last noight...that involved a small hole in a bag containing white powder and a boike (treader) so double check fur leaks afore you set off. :0)

The Haygates flour is pretty good. At least, their strong white is, as that's what I've ben using for my bread making.

If you chuck some eggs in before you set off it'll be nicely mixed by the time you get home.
