>>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<<
Quote:Hello Paul and welcome.

Very interesting intro. Have any of the many been a Vincent or Hodaka?
I WISH!!!!!

Vincents cost more than my house (literally, I live in a modular home). My best friend next door had a Hodaka Ace 100 when we were both 16. I got my first "real" motorcycle from him, a '57 (same year as me) Steyr-Daimeler-Puch mo-ped with clutch and 2 gears. That's where it all began.

"As I Lay Rubber down to street, I pray for traction I can keep. But if I skid and begin to slide, please dear god protect my ride"

Mods; Oil pressure switch, neoprene rear inner mudguard, scottoiler, highway pegs,  fenda extenda, 1999 carbs and airbox, Kais suspension setup, later clutch springs, LED lamps, Metmachex swingarm, Hagon Shock, Oxford heated grips, 4 way fused accessory Bus, 17" 3CV front wheel, Michellin R6 tyres, GPS speedo, 5' ignition advance.
Well, it helps that I'm down from a former high of 55 bikes...

Well after Grandpaul introduction I feel small and boring. Reason Ive joined is I have a trx with a 96 tdm motor. Love doing research on all the quirks etc of these bikes. Trying to get info on fitting oil light at the moment. Have in the past had guzzi, triumph, harley, suzuki, kawasaki. Mostly custom yokes but m now gone senile so have a standard bike. Live in Kinsale area of Ireland by the way

Welcome, grumpy.

No cause to feel small or boring as compared to me; In all the bikers I've met over 50 years, I believe I fall somewhere near the middle.

You should see some of the collections and garages I've seen, they definitely make mine look like a shack full of rust buckets!

As far as racing, I have yet to win a single race on my own; and as far as restorations, the real pros pick me apart every time...

But without a shadow of a doubt, my wife, kids and grandkids are the best! (the dog, not so much)

Welcome Gents,

GrandPaul - is that second pic a 900 Adventurer, or a Legend ?  - never seen one with a fairing like that

Legend TT900 triple with Shoei quarter fairing. Also has "Off Road" mufflers and airbox mods, re-jetting, and coil upgrades. Never messed with the final gearing, it'll only do about 115, but it gets there in a big hurry.

Hi, bought myself a TDM 900 last Sunday, needed something a bit more all rounder compared to my previous Street Triple.

Just the one of the TDM at the moment, other than riding it back and commuting, no proper riding done yet!

Did you realise that all of your other bikes would actually fit inside your bandit ?
