Hoghton Tower Motorcycle Sprint Event - May 8Th
I spotted this event which looks pretty interesting, if you didn't know, Hoghton is near Preston and if the weather's good this looks like a cracking day out. More (but not much more) details here: http://www.hoghtontower.co.uk/event/moto...ancashire/. Plenty of decent biking roads nearby too - Rivington is just down the road.

Works for me. Can always take our own cake!
Rivington Tea Rooms are still open, haven't been there for a while though. I'd be up for Sunday cake sometime.  Link with cake picture.  :cake eating:

She was all sorted Chris till i started losing air on the rear tyre, and as it's not far off it's useful life will change it.. a lack of places to get a new one on at the weekend just adds to the frustration....gonna buy me own tyre changing tools..

Sprint was great fun, although I had to leave before the races themselves, but saw a full morning's practise. Some fascinating bikes. A TZ750 sprinter was my highlight! But like a lot of the two-strokes, it was hard work to keep it in the powerband without destroying the clutch. I'll post some pics when I get a chance, but might not be for a week, busy at work & then prepping for Ireland & the NW200.

Saw Neil Cadwalladar (Treadman) there, but he was on the other side of the track, so never got a chance to speak to him. I saw a couple of TDM900s on my scenic route through West Lancs too, but didn't recognise anyone. If they're wondering, I was the prat waving at you before realising I was on my Crosstourer, not my TDM  :bag: .
