Hello everyone, just introducing myself. I'm Steve I'm from Harlow, Essex. I'm a thermal insulation engineer (lagger) . I bought myself an 09 Tdm last week after going through a cb500 suzuki gsx650f cbr600rr over the last 6 years. What a comfy bike the Tdm is. I'm using it mainly for commuting to Westminster and its a breeze.Exspecialy with the bit of power sneakily hidden away there! Extras on it are spots, fuel exhausts k&m filter of which i've never been a fan of, heated grips crash bars hand guards and a very large screen which I've now replaced for the summer with a small one I bought off the very helpful Kelpie and AL I'm sure I'll be pestering them again!
Hi I'm mark from up in sunny Teesside. I don't own a TDM as yet, but am actively looking and hope to get hold of one soon. I do ride an FJ1200 but the TDM looks like it will suit my lanky frame (and bad back) much better, and everyone seems to love them so that's got to be a good sign!Â
Welcome to Carpe Steve and Mark, it's a good un :good:

Hi everyone, introduction time, I'm Ken, an ex Consett hillbilly long since relocated to the Midlands. Forced into early retirement after me and my beloved R1 somersaulted over a car at a junction. I have recently bought a 36000 mile ABS 9er intending to just get on it and ride, but as usual my OCD kicks in and I have to check that everything is hunky dory, so before I know it, the bikes in a thousand dirty bits all over the shop. Now back together looking like new,[the bike, not me] I took it out today for the first ever ride on a TDM since I tested a new 850 mk1 back in the day. It is taking some getting used to, feels heavy with bouncy suspension so some adjustments needed [ me and the bike] I am enjoying the sedate pace so far,and riding like 'Walter the softy' I should get lots of mpg, which is why I bought it in the first place. Regards all :good: K.
