Motor insurance is a government enforced con. Minor damage becomes an uneconomic repair where your vehicle is taken by them and sold back into the trade, to profit them, or subsidise what they grudgingly give you as your insurance payment, that WILL start off as a derisory offer that you should always refuse. You may insure a vehicle worth thousands but forget any misconception that you'll be recompensed anything close to that.
