(Car) Replacing Abs Pump - Rhoughts On Bleeding
...and now - all tightened.

Next: bleeding😎

Success!!!! Temporarily fitted battery and took a short trip on our snowy roads😎

Only concern is a warning light for DSP and a message saying Hill hold is deactivated. I may have missed having removed two plugs when dismantling - only refitted 1 (air intake)
...and I need to reset battery warning...

Woooohoooo noice bjorgey.

For the uploads all I can suggest is delete older stuff.
Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.
Okay, will try that!
Saved myself some £2.200 by using a good bit of my spare time for 2 weeks. Not bad😄

Well done Bjorge.

We have companies over here we can send electronics off to for repair. Think my last ford abs unit was £220.

Saves a lot of re-programing probs and time.

DSP and hill hold are all controlled by the ABS unit I think. Maybe a good idea to clear any codes and another road test.

I'm just about to do the final assembly after yesterday's test. I kept the original electronics, swapped the pump/valve body. If I can't find any unconnected plugs I'll just leave as is for now. Too f%&@king cold (-10). As long as ABS works I'm ok so far.

Resetting battery monitoring, but I don't expect this to fix DSP error.

Have to get codes read/erased. DSP light on dash. Otherwise happy😎

great job, well done and keep going, I'll do all I can on a motorcycle but I'll take our car to a repair garage as I hate working on cars,

ps. someone would have to be pretty low to pick pocket a dwarf

it's not my time to go, it's not my time to die
the last thing I want is for my family to cry
