according to esure - legal protection is required for when some twat runs into you - even though it is not my fault i have to claim back my excess from other driver's insurance company - when i queried this i was told cause i did not have legal protection cover

 

what a racket :rant:

Generally, insurers are quick to take our money as motorcyclists, but often our claims are dealt with by non motorcycling solicitors who, as was the case in my last claim, was convinced that despite what i told them about the accident I could tell that they thought I was mainly to blame.

 

A specialist motocycling legal representative will not be biased against you. in a non-fault accident a car based legal team will probably manage to recover less of your costs than a specialist (based on the stories I've read since this thing happened to me)

10 year old niner , 8-10.000 th  miles a year , full comp legal and breakdown , the breakdown has been handy on several bikes that I have owned , the only time the niner was on the back of a recovery vehicle was when the coils were full of water and wouldn't start
