....about weather, winter, snow,.....

Most of the year, watching the weather-man on TV who says: "An area with rain, wind an fog is building up over the British isles, are mowing in to the NorthSea and to South East Norway......" Then I get p....d, cos this means rain, wind and bad weather for 3 - 4 days! But, before last week-end, the weather-man gave us this forecast and I said YES, YES....At last!!
Why?? I tell you: This month of Mars have been the couldest in 50 years! As much snow as it is here now, is the most in 40 years!! Where is SPRING!?
So, now we have rain, wind, fog and there are no minus-degrees in the nights and snow is melting!!
So, dear Englishmen, we (I) want more "Bad weather" for another fourteen days so (I) we can start the biking season in Easter

Alright, maybe not a weirdo. But what's wrong with wanting it to go straight into a sunny heatwave, skipping rain showers?

Nothing wrong with that, dear andyj, but you'll get a bit frustrated when there are several meters high piles of snow on parking areas and street-corners! On the other side, as you said, nothing wrong with a sunny heatwawe, but I doubt that happens! B)
