When weather turns to politics.
and there's no real drout in this country either, it's all those people from different countries coming over here and drinking it all, our reservoirs were built to store water for the amount of people that they were built to store water for, now because too many people have come over here who are thirsty or want to wash their dirty hands and faces, I'm not allowed to use my pressure washer to clean all that slimy greasy stuff from my steering head bearings,
but now I have a cunning plan, if we all agree to jump up and down simultaneously at 10am uk time we will be able to create a great big fool of ourselves that no one else will understand, except maybe that spider on the mantlepiece, but it will slow down the onslaught of the new ice age by a few hours, which should be long enough to go and pick up a new snowmobile and a packet of cheese and oinion crisps.
it's not my time to go, it's not my time to die
the last thing I want is for my family to cry

Paxman to Tony Blair, "Mr Blair, tell us again about this new plan of yours to slow down the onset of the next ice age. And please explain the significance of the spider."

I'm not allowed to wash a car, bike or hard surface using a hose connected to mains water. I am allowed to wash using a bucket. So I have a 75 litre bucket on my balcony which I syphon down to my pressure washer. Obviously I fill the bucket from the mains first. Still uses less water than using buckets anyway.

Same issues here, the water supply was planned for x amount of population, which has long been exceded, couple this to a long time of no or little rain and we have a problem. But people keep wanting to move here and we keep building more housing to house them.

Tell me when you want me to jump.

Southern California is a desert. One million toilets ... and the developers keep putting more new houses in (some with pools, why not? They'll go for a $mil + in some areas).

::: sheesh ::::
