Interesting to note that people having accidents were male, rarely wore full leathers, sometimes not even a jacket and were only wearing a helmet about 50% of the time.

I think people with experience and/or training are the ones who know better than to try pulling stunts on the streets.
Even that guy on the bicycle doing burnouts was wearing a turban. Thats <i>some</i> head protection. [Image: rotflmmfao.gif]

And they are probably in their teens to boot.
I was driving home yesterday and one of a group of bikes did a very long wheelie in a curve no less.
(I must say I was impressed with his control.)
