The other option is to pull the disk in the machine, put it into a HDD case, and speak nicely to a mate that has a good AV software.

Attached your disk (in HDD case - as an external disk) onto said mates machine, run a full scan on the disk to ensure it's clear, and then copy the missing .sys file back into location mentioned above.

If you know someone running some form of Linux you stand a better chance of being able to access all of the directories on the disk, plus less chance of cross contamination.
