A MK 1  looks so good

<p style="text-align:center;">Ohlins, PC3, fuel cut defeat, +4deg timing, 17" front wheel.
still a great bike and great engine, overlooked by many in their quest to have 'super' power bikes or the latest high tech gadgetry, although mine is a 900 a TDM to me is the balance of all round right'ness and plenty enough'ness but with room for modification'ness  :badgerrock:

Here
Did you travel into the future. Lol

2002 TDM900 Yellow
They date magazines so far ahead now. My R1250 GSA riding brother found it, much to his annoyance, as he is a BMW GSA man to the core.
Now Now Now, a few years ago, well before face masks were de-rigueur, I was asked by Kevin Raymond (did a test on TDM's, BIKE April issue, 1991) to scribble something about 80's bike life, along with that, I sent some words about TDM's as Practical Sportsbike was doing an article on stand-out Yamaha's and sent it to Mark Graham the then Features Editor (I think). The 80's bit got printed but the TDM one didn't make the deadline so I was told they will keep in for future use. I recognise some of my wordings on there (not enough to claim bragging rights Lol)  and I wonder if they found that article in the files and thought hmmm, thats a cool bike to feature. It's a bike worthy of a special mention, especially as the MK1's are now getting on a bit but still going strong.
