Medicinal Product !
Thermal wrap. I put one on my lower back last night due to an ache. I had an organised ride this morning so I slipped the wrap (still giving out heat) halfway up my back and went for the ride. I've just got home 14.5 hours later it's still giving out heat.

I can see myself using one of these on long winter rides, it's very comforting !

Seem to be priced at around £3 each. I think that's reasonable for the surprising amount of time they produce heat, plus there are smaller, neck/shoulder/ etc versions available.

I'm pretty tight with my money but this is something I think might well be worth keeping in the topbox on a long cold trip, ready to keep misery at bay if required.

If you're at all handy with a soldering iron and needle it's really easy to make your own electric heated jacket for not much money, kept me completely toasty commuting right through the winter one year
