It took them a while, but a photo of the bikes lined up in Monschau. Strange that they picked the one without the owners standing by, or maybe not!
The Blue One : 2004 model owned 2010-2018 much loved, much missed and now living with a man in Scotland Spain.

The Black One : 2010 Model Registered 2013 owned 2018 - present .Beowulf Cans. Renthal 755s Grip Puppies,15w fork oil,DL650 handguards ,givi engine bars ,led spotlights,gipro gear indicator, shortened dogbones, LeeHenty CSM kit and stainless bits, Topsellerie seat,MRA Xcreen,.PC III (dynoed). K&N airfilter,Fenda extenda. Lots of stainless/titanium.

Nice wan. Was it submitted for carpe calibobs?
Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

That would be the one I'd have picked as it shows all the bikes properly, especially the nice blue one on the right! They chose one from further along, where that silver one on the left is nearest to the camera and all you can see of the nice blue one is the front wheel! Grrrrr!

Sooooo, piecing all the scant details together, I take it that Chris submitted some photos to Ride mag and they selected one for printing ?  But we have to buy the mag to find out which photo was used, or was one of the photos shown above the one that was used, or submitted and didn't get in the mag ?  :unsure2:

I'll try and post up the one they printed, but all my photos have disappeared into a bucket or a cloud or something, it was much easier with me Kodak Instamatic!
