Well spotted, Adam. Ask the Michelin man aka BSM. He did mention it before anyone at the G2G spotted it.

2004 900 - Blue with lots of goodies

2012 900 - Still adding shiny bits. Was black, changed to white and now back to black again.

 
I believe it was in case we experienced a drought. This way, BSM could put water on the road instead of take it off. 😄😄

You have no idea just how much angst that tyre caused me! I left the wheel and new tyre with the fitter only to discover he'd fitted it arseways when I went to refit the wheel on Thursday night. I'll never live it down!

I did about 6K miles on a PR2 rear and never realised it was on backwards until the fitter putting it's replacement on pointed it out
1992 Mk1, 76k miles, Hagon springs, MTC exhaust, 4½ gears Gone now Sad

2009 900 abs, 42k miles, Yamaha heated grips, double bubble screen, R&G crash bungs, scottoiler, Autocom, 1500 lumen LED spotlights.
