We're house hunting and it's always amusing to take a look at the places that are being promoted on the sales sites.
Â
Scrolling through the photos of one I found this rather interesting looking decoration
Â
Â
Then upstairs there's this
Â
Â
Then I got to the garage, I didn't even spot the second raw at the back to begin with
Â
Â
Plus his daily ride downstairs.
Â
Â
Â
Shame it's somewhat over budget and a 2.5 hour drive from workl!

800k. I think it shows how alien the concept of commuting is to the Dutch, something that size around here would be at least a couple of million, and that 800k world get you a 3-4 bed apartment with about 1/3 if the living area and one parking space.

Funnily enough I thought of you when I saw the garage
Â
The basic building is relatively common for farms over here, you get the house in one end and the barn the other end, love the idea but sadly none of them in the area we'd like to live in.
