For the Brits that looks like about 2000 miles from Calais, at a touring pace that's about a week each way, but for a fun trip it would need about 3 weeks IMO.  Looks like it would be a good trip but I don't think I've got the time.

I once drove a Transit for a friend, non-stop in 23.5hrs  1450miles from Toulouse to Edinburgh

 

This looks do-able, set off Monday, arrive Thursday, leave Sunday return Wednesday or Thursday. A 2 weeker.....

 

I have to take my wife away for her 50th this year so can't afford the annual leave required. pity
