S10 Spark Plugs.
Been hearing stories of the pencil coils swelling with rust under the plastic. Some have had to destroy the coils to get them out.

No such trouble on mine, all coils looked dry and fine.

Been meaning to get in there for a while as I've had the plugs and the 2 foam filters from Uniflow ready to go for a while.

Once the tank is up and air box out of the way you'll see the 4 coils, yes 4 and 4 plugs, held down with 1 bolt each which had lock tight on them making them more trouble than they needed to be. Ratchet  spanner would have been great if they weren't at work.

Job took about 90 mins with me adding a couple of extra holes in the air box.

Plugs are due for change at 12000 miles according to the service data but looking at the old plugs they'd do much more.

Very much the same although I'm not looking forward to the valve clearance check, that looks much tighter.

Oil filter's easier being a spin on but 4 V 2 plugs and that time saved is gone. Rear wheel's a bit different to get off to change tyres too.

Just done my rear tyre on Monday morning (yeah I was blagging from work) totally forgot to assist the cushdrive plate off with the wheel, and got tied up with cush drive rubbers stuck etc but a mistake you'll only make once......Oh and yes it was Piece of Piss :good:

Got it, and yes it was.

Did my rear tyre last year, front to do soon.

Front is a lot easier, and I got so lucky with the balancing, I left the original balance weights on the wheel just to see if I got lucky, and I did :good: absolutely spot on which saved time!
