Buying New
Im not really disgracing a dealer but it pays to shop around . I was looking at buying a new TDM900 so i phoned local Yamaha dealer £5999 . Then i started searching ,saleyamaha gave me a price off £5299 then i phoned Georgewhite superbikes in London told them prices id been quoted they came back with £5100 for a UK. 06 bike on the road 6 month Tax etc . For £100 they would deliver it to my door aswell . If i took it to them i was getting first service free aswell but living in Dundee it wasnt justified. So shop around [Image: good.gif]

I can't understand why people pay full list price. One of the guy's I work with recently bought a new SV650S, Suzuki list price is £4500, he rung around a few places and paid £4100, and got the matching fairing lowers for that too, they are normally a £300 addition.

I have seen new (pre reg) TDM 900's for £4999, you could also try onyerbike

I bought my 850 when she was 6 months old, I paid £3999 for her with 1700miles on the clock, this was from a Triumph dealer. The dealers gave me a pack with the warranty book, original receipt, datatool alarm info etc.... The guy who bought it new paid full list for the bike, and the alarm and scottoiler (they even charged him fitting!!), £6700 he paid [Image: blink.gif]
i saw a pre registered one in a well known dealer in Chester (bearing in mind id bought my last 2 bikes
from there and he got all the servicing) pre reg on a 54plate was up for £5200.00 . i asked him to drop the price by £200.00 and id buy it there and then answer i got... Nope...go away... not interested, i went 10 miles up the road and got a brand new unregistered 05 plate for.... yep.....£5200.00 as we were leaving Mr Smiths in Chester he said "see you later" to which i replied "i dont think so" and to this day i aint been back
