AlienOnBoard?
I can't believe AllPornForYou has sincere interest in matters relating to TDM's, and in view of the odd performance of our site recently, could I suggest a complete boycott of that thread, including any clicking on any part of it out of curiosity, till Admin can investigate?

OK - glad you agreed. Thought maybe I'd seem neurotic, but then decided to play safe rather than have anything spread round and from Carpe. We've had one or two "downs" recently, and I'm twitchy. though my PC is firewalled, and well vetted for viruses, spyware etc., it's been decidedly odd since yesterday - slow and with suddenly reduced disc space.

Hi Thomas. Any reason we're seeing a bit more of this, other than the usual web background risk? Aside from virus issues I'm just concerned a chink has been opened to spam. Would it be possible to include a stronger loopback at registration, to give better user authentication?

I'm afraid I'm just a global moderator... I can't kick anyone off or like that... need an administrator to do that.
Same for modifying the software. G is upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2 (or like that) hopefully there will be increased security/validation.

I would like people to see 'type code in here' (this prevents automated sign-ups) when they apply.

Any 'first post' I see that's for online pharmacies, hookers, or whatnot... I can't toss the person but I can 'edit' their post. [Image: tongue.gif]
(I just wish I could catch all the post #1's soon as they happen.)

Sorry Thomas - I didn't mean to dump this issue in your particular lap. You're clearly doing your part, and thanks for seeing the point re. codes etc. - hopefully the upgrade will provide some of the necessary options.
