Editing function grace period?
Completely minor issue, you guys are doing a brilliant job with this site. Just wondering if there's any way a grace period can be set for editing posts before the "This post has been edited by .... : Today, 02:35 PM" message shows? A couple other BBS sites I post at give a grace period of 5 minutes or so and it seems to work well. Would also be nice to have the option to nuke one's post if no one's replied to it yet, for example if you ask a question but then find out the answer yourself after you've posted...

Cheers.
You can delete a reply by yourself but a topic (1st post) needs to be deleted by staff/admin.
Just ask, (in the post) we don't mind.

As for editing we unoficially go by:
Spelling and grammar, edit it whenever you find it.
Content, edits/changes up to the point someone posts a reply.

no reply doesnt always mean it hasnt been read.
maybe somone is looking for an answer or "on the job"

and if you have found the answer : post it for the next person ...

nobody minds self-answered questions, its the UNanswered ones that bother us.
