Bugger
Our neighbour rang the doorbell last night to tell me my bike had fallen over in the (communal) garage.

I'd moved it and put it on the centrestand, we think I must have had the topbox touching the back wall and the stand wasn't locked back fully.

I have to say it crashed pretty well, managed to break both mirrors (it fell towards a pillar and must have hit the upper one on that) and one footpeg but surprisingly little damage considering, with a few scuffs on the exhaust, bar end and crash mushroom.

I've not ridden it ages due to a back injury but hoping to get it back on the road next spring.

On the plus side had a long chat with the neighbour that I've not really spoken to that much before about his shiny new R1250GS, fireworks, kite boarding, seagulls, the rubbish job the management company have done on the garage floor, etc

it's not my time to go, it's not my time to die
the last thing I want is for my family to cry
My Dutch is still terrible, the locals all speak such good English it's hard to learn it Big Grin

Looks like I should be able to get a pair of mirrors for less than €50 which is less then I expected.  The footpegs are MFW Vario ones, looking at their website I'm not sure they make the exact same ones any more, but still do the Vario systems (bracket plate and peg to drop the pegs down by bit) so I should be able to get ones that fit.

I'm annoyed but impressed at how little damage it caused.
