Only a Biker knows why a Dog sticks it head out the car window
Typical BBC their coverage was crap,
They started when the guys were half way round on the warm up lap,
No chat on the grid to riders or mechanics,
Even at the end that stupid woman was interrupting Steve and cutting in,
Bring back Suzi Perry Someone who really loved bikes,
Well done ROSSI He was my winner

Did you notice how long it took the crap BBC commentary to notice that Lorenzo had passed Spies? I watched the coverage on Eurosport afterwards and they picked up on that as I watched it happen.
Only a small thing I know but the chat on BBC is crap, the commentary is crap, and Jenny Gow has said she's done her CBT as she hasn't had time to do it before now.... ok ok fair enough. So what bike is she gonna buy once she's passed her direct access test?
She say's she's torn between a Harley or an R1 ! WTF get real, not only are they just big names she's pulled out of her arse but a newly passed rider should be realistic, just goes to show she doesn't know her arse from her elbow!
rant over!

A lot of this is down to how the BBC view motoGP as F1's poorer cousin. When BBC got the motoGP rights, they were pretty excited and said they were intending to spend a lot of money on it, giving it a similar format to how they now do the F1 coverage. Unfortunately for us, ITV didn't resecure the F1 rights in the UK and the Beeb got it for a song. They weren't expecting to secure it, so consequence was that most of the budget that would have been spent on motoGP, was diverted to F1 at the last minute.
The Eurosport coverage is far superior to the BBC's, with commentators who have forgotten more about bike racing than I'll ever know. The only reason I watch BBC motoGP coverage now is if I want to watch it live. As part of Eurosport's contract states they must time delay their coverage if the BBC show motoGP live. Jenny Gow clearly knows very little about bikes, but at least she has done her CBT. But why they flew her out to the USA to do about 30 seconds to camera I don't know. Talk about wasting the license-payer's money. Matt Roberts has recently passed his Direct Access, but prior to that he'd done quite a bit of off roading. He was the English-speaking DORNA commentator for a few years before landing the BBC job, so he does know his stuff. I think Steve Parrish has some bike experience too. . Anyway, whichever channel you watch it on, it's better than that fixed F1 nonsense.
As for Suzi Perry, not really my cup of tea, fancies herself a bit too much IMHO. Was she a biker? I donât recall ever seeing her ride one. She lists her hobbies as Scuba diving, horse riding, fitness, photography and travel. Biking doesnât get a look in. Donât get me wrong, I wouldnât kick her out of bed. And Rossi did win didnât he? Well, they played the Italian national anthem on the podium at least. Much to Jorgeâs disgust!

I dont normally bother with the Moto GP,
but after the IoMan, I thought I would give it a try.
Yep, still not bothered, I'll stick with F1.
Mind you after what you said above it might be the poor coverage.
Borrowing a mate TT video, see if that kindles the GP juices.

I used to be an avid F1 fan and travel abroad to see races but over the last 4 or 5 years it has turned to crap and the cost of tickets is nothing short of robbery.
It is so processional and an hour too long. I can think of better things to do with my Sunday afternoon.
Eddie Jordan plays a very convincing sex tourist though!!
As for MOTOGP, love it, love it, love it. Jorge needs a slap though with those post race shenanigans. There's being a character and then there's being a twat.
Jenny Gow? - Eeeeh no thanks.

I normally only watch MotoGP on Eurosport as it's way coverage than the BBC.
Yes Suzi Perry does have a license and has been involved with motorcycles for some time, I 'bumped' into her at the NEC bike show a few years back.

I have to say I did prefer Suzi, much better that the new girl who I think they dragged from Cbeebies or summet.
As for jorge's celebrations I think they're brilliant. I didn't used to like him, and I do still prefer Rossi. But I'm certainly warming to his strange sense of humour.
