Vincent Rapide Stolen - Fordingbridge Uk
Bike details: PVX 299...first reg. 27/4/50...eng no. F10 AS/1/2293...frame no. RC 4193....taxed and tested to April 2012

Bike has/had a modern tinted screen and Craven pannier rack. "HRD" tank.

<i>"Marcus' brother had a Vin in the early sixties then rode other bikes 'til a couple of weeks ago when he bought Stan Kirkhams old twin on ebay.
He and Marcus rode from Cornwall to the annual rally in Fordingbridge. The bike was parked in a field with about 60 others when a van pulled up at the gate. The nearest bike went into the van un-noticed between 9 & 10 pm. Christine noticed it was gone at about 10.
It is going to make it a memorable Annual Rally - lots more info and discussion on the forum."</i>

I have since heard that it was likely to be a white transit type van spotted going the wrong direction up a one way street shortly after.

At nearly £35,000 that was an expensive ride from Looe to Fordingbridge....his first and only ride on the boike!

Anyone who knows the codgers, this is Bananaman's brother who had intended to spend more time out playing with his brother in retirement.
