nope,,, when I clicked the "Insert Image" button a window came up asking me about the url to the image...

hmmm doesn´t really,,, well it explains some problems with the server and advice on just hosting the pics else where, like photobucket. Is that how everyone is posting pictures, hosting them else where and just adding the url to the picture. Does carpe not host any of the pictures?

The previous linky dink tells you how to do it by hosting your own pictures. Then when you write a useful article with pictures they can be changed into pictures of your cat at a later date. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]

I guess things are moving on some other speed than the one tdm travels on, cause this was a problem in jan 2011... or did carpe just drop the matter.

Anyways or roads, as I read here somewhere, If someone else stumbles in here looking for the same answer it is:

Carpe does not host pictures, but try one of these options:

imageshack.us
tinypic.com
photobucket
dropbox (using the public folder and right clicking for the url)
